Hi All,

I am in the process of re-submitting the EE form as the old one just got expired but I am stuck at the Education details part.

So request expert advice on it.

a) Do I have to enter school education details also or just degrees in EE profile?

b) My graduation course started in 1996. The university registration certificate says 1996-97 and dated dd-11-97. Don't remember why but probably it was issued later. It's a 3 yr degree course and the final year exam was in 1999. However, I had to reappear in 2000 for the Final year exam and I cleared it then.

Now, should I enter the course period on EE as 1997-2000 or 1996-1999 because if I enter 1996-2000, it'll be 4 years which is not the case.

Old profile had 1997-2000 filled in by my consultant which seems to be wrong. I am not using consultant's help this time as I am aware of most of the things now and I have found this forum to be extremely helpful.

Many thanks in advance for your help on this.

A) only post-secondary education after high school

B) i would go with 2000 if that is the date on your degree. Because your Canadian equivalence of the degree is determined by your ECA report anyway and not by how long it took you to finish. Somebody could study part time and take much longer to finish a degree so ECA settles that issue.

Thanks Andre_Smol for your advise.

So do you suggest 1997-2000 or 1996-2000, keeping in view that it's a 3 yr degree course that started in 1996?

This 3 yr degree has also been verified by WES.

It might be a 3 year course but if you took from 1996-2000 to get your degree then thats what I would put.

The time you spent studying should be correct, no matter what the equivalence is in the end. As I mentioned above, aomebody can study part time, take 5 years to do a 3 year degree. In that case you would still say that you studied for 5 years to get that degree, otherwise your personal history would be incorrect as well.
