Request from VO for new medicals and new police cerftificate: What does it mean?

Hi all.
we received email from our VO concerning new medical instructions and new police certificate. I guess they have both expired, as the application was filed more than 1 year ago.
Is this a good sign? Does it mean that all checks are done and that this is the final stage? I would be soooo happy that this long wait is over.
 
yeap it is....they are on the final stage of processing..but mine was..medical,police and passport request..
 
THanks so much kurt. Do you know why they didn't extend your medicals? They could have or not?
 
well im not pretty sure. the only reason in my mind..was mine got expired and not applicable for extension..Do they request ur passport aswell?
 
well maybe it depends on Visa Office who handle ur application.. yeah mine in one shot..and as far as this forum thread concern, it is the singapore pattern as what i observed..which visa office handle yours?
 
Oh I think I know why there was no passport request, they don't need passoprt because of visa exempt country, they will just give COPR.
