Hi everyone!
I'm just wondering if after receiving SA and a request for the Schedule A Background Declaration, what are the chances that they will still ask for an RCMP background check? (We just submitted Schedule A and some other forms to IRCC and Mexico City as per their instructions yesterday).
Our application is being processed through the Mexico City VO and we submitted my partner's Police Clearance certificate from his home country upfront as per country specific instructions.
However, my partner lived in Canada with me for a period of about a year. We did not submit any police clearance certificates from Canada with our application (we had one done through the local police service for other purposes before he left Canada and still have the original copy).
If anyone has had this happen, please let me know.
Thanks in advance!!
