Hi,

I submitted my Express Entry FSW-O application on 10th January 2018. I recently received a request for proof of common relationship via email from the Canadian Embassy, Mexico. Should I be concerned?

Yes, you will have to submit a proof of Common Relationship. Didn't you upload earlier?

Yes, I did submit initially as it was a requirement, which is why I am concerned that they asked again for it.

Which document did you upload earlier?

I initially uploaded Common-law agreement, joint bank and credit card statements, utility bills containing same address, photos of travels over the last 3 years with passport stamps as proof.

In response to the new request, I sent all initial documents with updated information and dates, such as more recent travel photos with proof and call logs over the last 2 months.

I assumed the officer wanted confirmation that the relationship was still ongoing.

Wish you good luck.

Thanks. I hope members who experienced similar scenarios can provide insight regarding how long after submission we can expect a final decision.
