I got email from CIC that :


This refers to your application for a Canadian temporary residence visa, study permit and/or work permit. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

Passport/Travel Document: Valid passport or travel document. This must be received at this office XXXXX
Please note:
We require your original passport.

What does it mean ? did CIC approve my application ? Please help !

YES your application has been 99% approved. This is final step where they will issue the visa in your passport and then they will approve it 100%

what kind of work permit did u apply is it a spouse open work permit if so plz share your timeline.

Yes it looks like 99% its approved and you are just one step away.

Where did you apply? Online or paper based? What was the timeline?

I have also applied online on 8th May. Got medical request on 20th May.
21st May done medical at Pune. Not sure how long they take to upload the reports to CIC. And how long it takes after that.

1. What does this mean?
2. Submitted passport on 8th. Any idea how long it takes ? Anyone with recent experience please share details along with office where passport submitted.
