Hi All,

Just wondering if someone can help me in relation to this, got a standardized form requesting to confirm my contact information etc was to date. I updated my postal address etc. Also it looks for photocopies of my passport also along with two passport photos to be posted to the Ottawa office also. I am not sure if this is correct as I uploaded everything when applying. Can you please advise if people got this form and if they sent in their information again. It says online that no more documentation is required...

Also if people saw this request template, what is the general timeline after receiving for getting their PR completed. I sent mine in the end of April if that helps.

Thanks
Tom

Congratulations!! You got PPR!!

After you send those forms they'll send your your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR).

They didn't request your actual passport because you're from a visa exempt country).

Getting your PR completed involves landing in Canada. You have one year from the day your medical was completed

Are you serious, I am in ;D :P. So all I do is send them the copies of the pages in my passport along with two photos and I am good....

Sorry getting greedy with the questions now. When roughly is the timeline after this, 1-2months before sorted. Thanks again for the information. Think a few beers in a nice patio will be had tonight to pre-celebrate this PR

It depends on your visa office. What country are you in? If you're not in Canada you will need to contact CIC to ask them to re-direct the passport request to your local visa office. Some visa offices take a week to return your documents while other visa offices take more than a month. It all depends.
