I have been in Canada for 7 years as a permanent residence recently I applied for my citizenship in about 3 month have been called for citizenship test but I'm out of Canada on Holliday I have contacted them and explained then got a request for finger print . I do have a conditional discharge n Canada and submitted he copy of my court judgement the question is where to do finger print and how long does it take and is there anyone else with similar application. Like me.

From my experience, if they put your name into a Criminal Background check and there is a match, then they request your fingerprints. Do you have a criminal record? Once they do your fingerprints, if there is a match in the system they send them to the RCMP to get more information on why you have a criminal record. This can take up to 120 business days.
