Request for FBI USA - Again

Hi,

My medicals were done in May and now I got a letter from CIC, saying please send out the PC from FBI USA for you and your spouse. Is this quiet common? Please advice.

It is not a common practice for Canadian Immigration to ask for an FBI clearance again. However, I would say it depends on an applicant's legal status in the US and his country of birth.

In my case I sent police certificates with all documents. And 3 months later came the request for meds, court certificates and proof of funds again.
So I guess it depends on your visa office. They aech have their own procedures. Don't worry.

Thanks guys for all your response.

I did send my PCC for FBI, and all the states where I stayed in US. Now again they have asked this, Weird thing is there is no time frame to send out the PCC from FBI, I believe they know that nowadays it takes close to 2 months to get the PCC from FBI. Let us see how it goes.

I will update all of you, so that if anybody faces the same issue, it might help them.
