Request for biometrics received!

Hi,

My wife(principal applicant) just received her request for biometrics, she is in the US and getting them next week. Can anyone weigh in on how long after biometrics are taken and received by the Canadian government an applicant can expect to receive permanent residence? Sorry if this is a silly question, it's just hard to know when to make plans for her arrival without no real dates..any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you

Biometrics is only the first in a long line of things, so there's no way to know how long it would take after that.
