Hi everyone,

I am a bit confuse with the IMM 5475 Authority to release personal information.

I am the sponsor for a Inland application (my spouse, and she live with me at same address), following what i read we MUST complete the Use of representative as I must be her representative. Should we also need to fill the IMM 5474 Authority to release personal information or the Use of representative is enough

WHat I found from the complete guide:

Note to sponsors: If the person you’re sponsoring is living outside Canada and is 18 years of age or older, and your address in Canada is provided as their mailing address on the application for permanent residence (IMM 0008), the principal applicant (person you’re sponsoring) must complete a Use of Representative form listing you as their representative.

I should mention, it's for the work permit. Because on the PR checklist it seems pretty clear that I should not provide a IMM 5474

My mistake, they say if the person you’re sponsoring is living outside Canada, i read this 5 times and always think if she living in canada.. Now my application is sent and because of this we cannot link the application with an online account because i am an unpaid representative.. We no need representative at all in our situation... Shame i found out the day after I sent everything.. :(
