Representative and principal applicant

Hi to all. My father who is principal applicant under pgp 2019 program enquired through his email from London visa office regarding his case and they replied that they don't have his email associated with any file and he should communicate through his representitive? Is it so that when son / sponsor made representitive IRCC only communicate with representitive? My father has his GcKey account and he handle it himself through his email. Highly appreciate your inputs. Thanks

If you are the representative then it’s your email address that is being used for communication about the application. Your father should be able to ask about the application though, I guess he just jeeds to give enough convincing info that he’s the PA. Anyways, can’t you just send the email and cc your father and say that he’s the PA to confirm?
