hello, i raised an webform with the Singapore embassy to let them know about my deferral to january intake and the fact that my LOA has been valid for the past May and September intake and is still valid for January intake. So when asked for a new LOA my university said i won't be needing a new one.

Here's a ss of the mail i received.

Show your university the IRCC's message and ask them for your new LoA.

if uni said you dont need a new loa, you would show the email from uni to ircc.

But you only asked a query, right? It’s not the Visa officer that sent that email but an agent of them. Also, did you receive an AIP already?

no I didn't ask any question i just let them know that i deferred to January intake and not sure who sent the mail, doesn't matter either way. and yes, i have received aip earlier.

Letting them know thru webform doesn’t make sense. The only thing that you can inform them is by submitting to them any docs or even a letter of explanation. Because messages thru webform aren’t seen by visa officers

Messages sent throught webform handled by client experience team and directly added to your file. VOs will be able to see your message and docs you sent them while reviewing your case.

that's reassuring, thank you.
i've sent two webforms with the same information, one to the embassy handling my file directly and one via general webform. I've got responses from both queries, the reply from the general webform said, they will redirect my message to the responsible embassy. is that going to be a problem?

will the files submitted by webform be added into gc account and become visible to applicant? because i have submitted two files twice and i never see any updates in my gc account.

No. They are not going to show in your GC Account.
