Renewing Passport after AoR

Hi guys,

My AoR is Sep 9 and I'm still waiting for PPR. My question is, I need to renew my passport, when I do it, do I need to notify CIC?

Or can I just send the new passport info when I get PPR.

Renew your passport and moment you get the new booklet back, update IRCC right away with CSE.
