I am currently an international student in Canada who is just about to graduate in April 2021.
As of April 2021, l will have completed 2 years of study.
I would like to apply for my work permit in April and also renew my study visa as l am not done with my studies yet.
Someone informed me that l better apply for the work permit and once l get it, l should get a skilled job after which l can apply for Permanent Residence and later go back to school. The same person stated that if l apply for a study visa the third time l will spoil my chances of getting PR.
Please someone advise if the above is true?
