Renew Visa + apply outland + keep working after expiration

Hello, please. If you could help me and my partner we appreciate it so much.

Im a brazilian citizen in Quebec with a Work Study visa valid for 8 months, however it's going to expire in the last day of February.
My boyfriend and i love each other so much and the idea of being separeted hurts, however so far as I understood I couldnt be more than 2 years without seeing my family.

I have already done medical exams for my visa. My question is: can i renew my visa now and apply outland? Or do you think it's better for me to go to Brazil, get a tourist visa then come here to Quebec and wait the outland response?

Is very risk if i keep working after your expiration date?

Another question: My partner is a university student and we both have no children. Are they going to ask for financial report?

Since you're not PR or citizen of Canada. It is illegal to work in Canada without work permit. You cannot work past the date on your current work permit. If you do, the CBSA will come and put you on a plane back home.
The best option for you is to apply inland and work permit at the same time if you two want to stay together. I don't know how quick the processing time for outland in Brazil is so I can say it's better for you to apply outland.
