I'm in a bit of a predicament, where I ended up having to withdraw a spousal PR application because it was incomplete and I forgot to submit the OWP with the application. I submitted a new one and then realized, that since my spouse is a student, I should have instead submitted an application to change/extend stay instead so that she could keep her implied status as a student, especially since she is just beginning her degree this Fall and I don't want to risk anything. I feel like such an idiot... Should I resend with the risk of looking bad with two withdrawals, or can we extend her study permit later? (it expires in May 2017). Could they potentially refuse the extension of her study permit if she has a PR application in progress? What should I do?
