Remedical exams for syphilis?

Hello everyone, if someone was tested positive for syphilis and took the treatment advised by ircc (3 shots of penicillin), submitted the treatment form by the physicians panel and passed the medical exam, might they be asked to redo the medical exam later to verify that the treatment was successful?

If someone has been asked to redo the medicals after syphilis treatment please share your experience. It will be extremely valuable.
