Hi seniors,

I got letter from cic. The letter says me that i want leave from canada immediately.

My question is, any issue to apply PR under CEC by stayed in canada more than two months after remain period. Because i got the letter from my consultant after two months. But i have left from canada within week after i got the letter.

If any issue, please give any suggestion or solution to apply PR under CEC

It depends if the letter was a departure order or not. If it was a departure order and you didn't leave in time, then it may have turned into a deportation order which means you'll need an ARC to return.

Hi, is that a deportation or departure letter you received? If that was a deportation letter, then you will not be able to apply for any kind of residency or permits for Canada for a certain period of time (I heard its two years). Paste the contents of the letter to better help you.

If it was indeed a deportation letter, you will need this:

Hi sy_123,

sorry to hear about your unfortunate and complex situation.please copy and paste the content of the letter you received from CIC after taking your personal information of course if you can or provide more information so forum members can have a clear image and help you.

good luck.

Thanks for response reply,

I was not deported by cic letter. I have applied restoration after completed my implied status. But i was not able to find lmo to apply workpermit extension and also my restoration period finished without apply visitor visa. That's why the letter says that your Temporary Resistance status expired and you have to leave from canada. By the reason i left from canada.

Please can you give advice now .

Thank you

you are welcome,

ok since you was not deported things maybe a little easier for you.
one more question before i can give you any other advice, did you left canada right away once you receive the letter telling you to do so or you stayed for bit of time if you did stayed how long was your stay for?

Thank you for reply

You mean your lawyer got CIC's letter that told you to leave Canada in 60 days, but he/she kept it for 2 months, then sent it to you? Why?? >:(

you are welcome,

so its your consultants fault not yours but unfortunately CIC does not recognize this kind of situations and all they can say the onus is on you to leave on time and keep your status legal.
anyway i understand your excuse and i have sympathy for you,in my own moderate opinion i don't think two months are a huge deal breaker but who knows.
here is what you need to do,if you qualify for CEC as of now(meet all of the program's requirements) and have all documents ready in hand such as a valid original IELTS or CELPIP test, reference letters from your previous employers in canada including your job duties and responsabilites...you can file an application now under CEC and attach a cover letter detailing and explaining how you came to lose your status and why you wasn't able to apply for restoration and that you left canada after you got the letter telling to do so and had no intentions to stay there illegal even for that period but your consultant did not alert you only after two months has passed,be honest and truthful, include every single document you may think its of a good support to make your case stronger.
just so you know the fact that you stayed in canada for an extra two months without status does not ban you from applying for pr or any type of temporary residence, you can always apply and the decision will be at CIC's hands, the only thing you might lose are fees associated with the application but i think its worth the try if you are interested in immigrating to canada.
finally i suggest you can seek help of a good lawyer if you can afford it just a consultancy for like an hour to seek a good help because we are all here just forum members helping each others and not immigration officials.

good luck once again.
