Hello everyone!

Would really appreciate your answers and advise please!

My spouse came to Canada as a WP holder under the AIPP stream in early 2021 then our daughter and I followed mid 2021 as an OWP and visit visa holders.
We got our COPR around November 2021 and received our PR Cards probably a month after; however, my husband's PR card needs to be rectified as the photo printed in the PR card is not his! So, we have sent the forms required to get it re-issued but it has been more than 60 days and we have not received a new PR card or rejection for the application.

We are planning to relocate from New Brunswick to Nova Scotia next month... here are my questions please:

1. Since we are still waiting for the corrected PR Card, will it be an issue if we update IRCC on our new mailing address if we relocate? Since it will be in a different province.

2. Will our PR status get revoked if we move to another Atlantic province?

3. If we relocate to another Atlantic province, will this affect our Citizenship application in the future?

Thanks in advance!

You are all current permanent residents. There is no law that stops you from living anywhere in Canada. No impact on future citizenship as long as you stay keep your PR obligation up to date.

Having said that, I strongly advice you to invest some time in reading up what your rights and duties of a permanent resident here in Canada are. You are now part of this community.
