Good day friends!

me and my spouse (accompanying) AOR JAN 2020, reside in Sri Lanka are hoping to relocate for my Spouse's new work assignment in Middle East. application is at 100% but on hold due to Covid Pace. eligibility/security/background all passed as per last web form reply in September. GCMS notes ordered pending delivery.

i need to get your advise on the process to follow to inform IRCC on relocating to another country while EE in place. country of residence mentioned in application is Sri Lanka.

@legalfalcon happy to hear your advise.

cheers

Relocating or moving to travelling after your application is submitted has no impact on the processing of your application.

After to move to the Middle East, send a webform and inform IRCC of your new address. This is essential because after your application is approved, IRCC will send you a passport request, and the instructions in it will be fore your LVO, which usually is the one in your country of residence. If you do not inform IRCC, they will send you the PPR email asking you to submit your passport to the VO in Sri Lanka, while you are physically in the Middle East. At that juncture you will have to inform IRCC to change your VO, which can take 1-3 weeks.

This is why it is essential to inform IRCC upon changing your country of residence. If you travel for a short vacation, you DO NOT need to inform IRCC.

Hope this helps!
