I applied for my study permit and my application was refused. My case was weak because I didn't write a SOP and my refusal letter had the box "Purpose of visit" checked.
Even though this was the only box checked, could there be other reasons for my refusal as well? E.g. would they judge on me having relatives (Aunts) living in Canada?

Anyone?

You would need to order your case notes to know the specific reasons why you were refused.

Purpose of visit typically means the VO doesn't believe you are a genuine student.
