Relative stuff for PR within Canada!

Dear One!

I came to Canada with a student visit visa for 6 months. And I have my relative who is a Canadian citizen and he qualified to sign sponsorship for me to gain permanent resident in Canada

But my question and fear are would CIC have problem with me because I am applying for the permanent resident within Canada as my relative is ready to sign sponsorship for me? Most it is that it is only applied outside Canada before it is granted?

Please, I need your advice so that I know where I belong and what to do.

Are both of his parents deceased? Does he have no other family in Canada (e.g. cousins, uncles, aunts)?

Extended family cannot sponsor except under very very limited circumstances. Are his parents or grandparents alive? Then he cannot sponsor you.

He most likely cannot sponsor you since his parents are still alive.

I doubt that he can sponsor you. You may have misunderstood the eligibility criteria.

Unfortunately it's not possible for him to sponsor you. You are too old.

You will need to qualify for PR on your own through an economic immigration program like Express Entry.
