Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
My company and my boss is not agreeing to give me the reference letter.
But my colleague is ready. Do I need to mention the relationship with the colleague.
With boss it was easy. "Supervisor"
What should i write for the colleague

The letter should be in the format of from 'colleague' to 'whoever it may concern'.

Remember that this is a workaround so you will need to get this notarized before submission. You will also have to include a detailed LOE highlighting your inability to get a more 'straightforward' reference letter from your HR/supervisor and attach all the supporting evidence of your employment and finally request the officer to consider your application as complete and process it on its merits.

hey, if my supervisor writes it on plain paper and signs (may be stamp ) it also, is that good enough?

Yes. You will still have to do everything I mentioned in the previous post.

Thanks Asivad!!
Yes i will be attaching my service letter and salary slips.
The company has been acquired by another company. I think i will have to explain that in LOE.

Hi guys

I think this is a relevant thread.

I worked for my fathers company for a year and one of my job experience letters is from him :S

Does that make a difference.

Its shouldnt be a problem as long as it is in format that CIC expects.
