Yes one applicant who filled in London got his file rejected after status changed to In Process. He is from this forum only

Dear All

ecas status is showing that " we had reviwed ur file and started process on 5th Jan'2010."

is it mean that, they had accepted NOCs and job duties, and now they are with background checks and other verification.

It only means that what you have written on your form has been reviewed and your case is deemed fit to be processed - so the "IN PROCESS". They will then send you a letter to put in all your doucments to support what you have filled and claimed in your form.
The onus is then put on to you to prove that you satisfy all your claims. Then the other things will follow,- Medicals, BC, SC etc etc.

A case in process, in my view, can still be rejected, if the IO is not satisfied.
