Hi guys,
Another question while i was in australia in 2000 I applied to canada Immigration and rejected when i told them to transfer my file back to india they send me rejection letter please advise can I apply now and do I have to mention my rejection as i dont have any evidence of that.

Regards,
:)

It is important to mention rejections of your past. That should not have any impact now on your application as long as your application satisfies IRCC.

You can explain you do not have the rejection letter anymore, but be sure to declare it, and CIC surely has a record of it that they will find during their checks.

Agreed. No matter how long ago you had a lrevious rejection, always mention it.

Many people have been rejected for mot mentioning previous refusals. If you dont any any clear dates or file numbers, just tell them about it and they will be able to look uo the soecifics of that case anyway.
