My wife is Canadian PR and she sponsored me in family class in june 2008 then she came back to my country. In may 2009 I attended an interview at visa office. Then we heard nothing.

Now 3 months ago visa office called my wife,s telephone number in Canada, while she was here in India and asked about my wife. My wife,s friends replied that she is in India from last one year.

My question is that what will happen now?

Almost certainly they will reassess the sponsorship eligibility and refuse. PRs have to be living in Canada in order to be able to sponsor.
