Regular vs SDS

Hello all

I am all set to apply for September 2020 but a little skeptical about the processing times. When I checked for Study Permit processing times from India it shows 12 weeks, however the SDS information page says it is processed in 20 calendar days. How does these processing times work?

SDS typically offers expedited processing to lower-risk applicants who provide greater proof of funds upfront. If you meet the requirements to apply then you should consider using it instead of the regular application.

However, processing times are all over the place these days and nothing is guaranteed.
