Hi Friends,

I am an international student from India with valid study permit. I am short of just one course to graduate. I would like register as part-time in upcoming term to complete that course. I would like to know if I would be violating any of terms defined in study permit by registering as part-time.

I also would like to know if this has any impact on my PGWP?.

Let me give more details of my case:
first, second and third terms - Full time
Fifth term - Part-time, This was my first co-op work term
Sixth term - Inactive. Actually this was my second co-op work term, but because I have not paid co-op fee on time. This term is not being considered.
Seventh term - Winter '14. I am confused whether to register as full-time or part-time.

My question is as follows:

a) If I register for winter as part-time, would it have any impact on my eligibility for PGWP?.
b) At the time of filing PGWP application (say May'14), the last time I would have had full time registration (May'13) would be almost an year ago. Would it hurt my PGWP?.
c) and finally, the CIC website reads "You must have studied full time in Canada and you must have completed a program of study that lasted at least eight months.[1]". Does that mean a student has to be registered as full-time all throughout the program?.

Let me know if you need more info in answering the questions I have.
