registered nursing certificate equivalent in Canada

hello everybody,
my wife is registered nurse in Lebanon with more than 4 years of experience in american university of Beirut medical center(working as technician nurse ) and i am a developer with computer science degree and with 2 years of experience and i have two certifications one from Arab open university and same one but from British open university and we want to go to Canada as permanent workers. i need your advise please.is it necessary to equivalent our certifications in Canada? if yes can we start working in the domain(me software development and she nursing) before equivalent.can we go to Quebec if we don't know French but we know English and after the arrive can we go to any Province and is it better for my wife to be the primary and i am the spouse because she was a nurse. is it true that the government help us finding new job and apartment after the arrive. please help by answering one or more of these question

your wife wants work as a nurse in canada then she has to get registered from one of the regulatory body.
it is a long process, but you can check your eligibility from one of these nursing councils.
