My husband has applied the work permit on MARCH 23rd 2016,through the representative after submitting the application we got the mail as 2 to 3 Months Processing time ,already it is 4th month running till now we didnt get any information or mail regarding the status ,could anyone know the what is the reason behind them..Please clear my dought ..?

Can the representative contact the visa office and ask about your application? Also, processing delays are common in Canada. I waited for my work permit for more than 5 months.
Already my representative has contacted to CIC and they are telling that the application is in process wait for the passport request they are telling like that,,but almost it is 4th month running till now no mail from representative or CIC till now,,really i am getting frustating to wait the days ,,anyone faced the samesituation guys??
