I got the following statement from a website.....
"Work Experience will continue to increase after the submission of the application up to the time of assessment of the application by Canadian Immigration and the points will be increased accordingly"

Is this logical?i want your comments

Absolutely, at the time of assessment (& verification) is where they establish your final qualification and points. All the changes the happen in between like marital status change, childbirth, crime, less funds, more work experience are taken into account. You are also required to inform Canada immigration of any changes that might affect your case while in process.

It may not sound practical or logical today but I believe this is more applicable to the pre 2008 cases. While the average would be around 5 years , in some circumstances it took over 10 years for the granting of PR. I myself have been here 3.5 years :D
