Hey guys... I am looking at the form for requesting a Police Clearance for my wife. They are asking for addresses while resided in the "blank" country. There are 3 spots to write down addresses. Are they looking for just 3? Or are they looking for just one for each country you've lived in, or do they want ALL the addresses since she was born? Because that's a LOT of addresses :| Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I think you should probably clarify which form this is you are looking at and which country your wife is needing a police certificate for.

I got mine from the FBI in the USA and didnt require any of the things you are asking about so obviously each country is different.

Alurra71, thank you for your reply. Sorry i may seemed not too specific with the form. The reason is because it is not an sponsorship immigration form. It is the request form from immigration to the police asking them to make a Police Clearance form.
The country she is residing in is China. It is a very simple request with minor details like her name, last name and date of birth. But the bottom section asks for her address(es) in that country. They give only 3 spaces and she's moved about 100 times however always in China. How detailed do i need to be with those addresses for the police?
Thanks again for the help

I wish I could answer that specific question for you. I have absolutely no idea. Does the form give any indication of how far back to go or anything like that? How about on a website or something regarding getting the police clearances? Maybe it is only in regards to different provinces she may have lived in rather than specific housing? I really wish I could help you out. Maybe edit your title heading to reflect that you are trying to get help with a Chinese PCC.

I don't know if this link is of ANY help to you at all. Is CIC planning on making the request, hence the need for the form you are speaking about, or is she going to do the request on her own? Anyway, check this link out and see if it helps. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/china.asp

Hi Alurra... There are no specifics regarding the addresses really. And honestly I don't think they may request it. But I believe immigration did that just in case some countries do ask for a specific reason as to why you need this clearance form and so they have prepared the request. My wife is already looking into it and I believe she mentioned before they may not need it. But I am preparing it in case.
