Regarding Non MRP

I am very confused what to do?
I have submitted the Non MRP - passport for FSW programme in canada.
Now i am expecting for the medical if i clear the medical then they will ask for passport.

But Our non MRP passport will expire in November 2015.
What can i do?
Can i change the passport to MRP before visa? do i need to change the passport after the VISA?
