Q#1. Is that my spouse is Principal applicant in form IMM0008 ?

Q#2 In form# IMM008 on the date of Marriage, which date is preferred. Date of solemnization or date of marriage registration in India.

Q#3. Which document is required for “National identity Document”. Is that we can use Passport again or Adhaar card. But Adhaar card don’t have an “Issue date” and “Expiry date”.

Q#4. On page 3 of 5 what would be the intended occupation if my spouse is already working. I believe it requires to be “N/A” or I should leave it blank.

Q#5 In dependent section, is that Spouse of Principal applicant (me) required to fill my details in dependent section. I'm Canadian permanent resident.

If you are the PR, you are the sponsor. Your spouse is always the Principal Applicant.

The date of your wedding is the best date, but you may wish to use the date of registration in Alberta.

I'm not sure about National Identity Document.

Intended occupation is what your spouse intends to do when they arrive in Canada. If it's the same kind of work, write that in. Don't write N/A or leave it blank as that suggests that your spouse is not intending to work in Canada.

I don't believe you get listed as a dependent.

Thank you 89 for your help. But can you please confirm "To apply for spouse PR in India" what are the documents required. If you please provide the number. I just want to re-confirm with you. These are the forms I have filed.
IMM0008
IMM1344
IMM5406
IMM5532
IMM5533
IMM5669

All these forms I have filled from Principal applicant side except one form "Sponsorship declaration form". Can you please confirm if there are anymore forms I need to submit from my side as well. I'm the sponsor (PR in Canada).

Here's what the CIC site says:

Appreciate your help 89 but can you please confirm one more things, is it necessary to have my (husband's) name on my spouse's passport before getting PCC for my spouse in India and before applying for my Spouse's PR in Canada. Once again thank you for giving me your precious time.

Canada doesn't care if you've taken your husbands name on your passport. Lots of people here never quite change their names after marriage.

Really appreciate your help 89, last question ? Is it really necessary to change address on my spouse's passport. As now she is living in my house in India. Is it really helpful while applying for my Spouse PR ?

Do Indian passports print the address in them? If you are required to update your passport to include your current residential address, then do that. If you are not, then as long as you document her addresses appropriately, do not worry.
