Regarding extension of study permit....

i am here as an international student.My permit will expire on 30 nov 2014. I have some questions regarding the application. On 30th march 2014, i got an public intoxication ticket in Calgary and i made voluntary payment. Is this a criminal charge. How would it may effect my application. I have to disclose the information in IMM5709E form under background information in section 3(a)yes or no. Is this any problem in extension of study permit and after that getting post study work permit.

1. If arrested, write 'Yes'. No issue with SP extension.
2. Not a criminal charge. Public intoxication is a provincial offence, not a criminal offence.

No arrest was made.they just drop me at home.actually, i went to the police station, from there i call 911, then the opened the door and drop me at home.
