Hi, we are applying for canada spouse visa outland. I am living in delhi and my husband is canadian citizen. I have to sign and send my forms to my husband in Canada.

In the forms with sign there are date fields in which i can select the date. But as I am typing and printing the forms, i know the date. My husband will get forms after 4-5 days.
If I leave his date field blank, he cannot type and print those forms again as it needs my signature which are not possible.
Can he write the date with pen? Any issues will be raised by embassy?
Please suggest what is to be done in this scenario.

Thank you

If i were you....this is what i will do.

Assuming am signing the form today (2017-05-27)..........i will fill 2017-05-27.........and then fill 2017-06-02 (6 days later) for husband (Sponsor).........before Printing the form...........so when husband receives the form, it will have the date and only needs his signature.

Dates can be written with pen without any problem. Basically, it is Date on which signatures will be done. We did both sponsor and Pa's dates with same pen we used for signatures.

It's fine for him to handwrite the date.

It’s actually better to write them with pen because it’s a date of your signature. Me and my husband both wrote the dates with pen and it was OK.
