refused visa under 4131

its a bad news .i don't know why my application been rejected . i am a agri. teacher in school. can any senior help me.

I am sorry for the visa refusal. Please explain the reason for refusal. To qualify under NOC 4131 you need to be teacher at college level. If you can provide more details, may be somebody will be able to help in the forum.

Under NOC 4131 you need to be a college teacher whereas you have mentioned you are a teacher in a Agricultural school so in my opinion this could be a reason of refusal?

i am teaching in a agricultural school .it is in the list but in letter visa officer mentioned i have no full time experience in 4131.but i have 10 year experience in this . i don't know why they refused my visa . in my exp. certificate i mention only working regularly . but not use the continuous word .some consultants say this may be the reason . but not clear. if somebody have idea plz help..............

Did your work experience letter had written all the main duties you perform at school?

thanks for your reply rajnik . i have mentioned all duties in work experience certificate. i have 10 year experince of teaching agriculture. i am teaching in senio sec. school providing agriculture study. i teach to senior classes. some say i am not eligible but some say i am eligible and i should reapply mentioning continuous and teaching hours. plz help

Note that Senior secondary school is not same as college may be that was the reason they refused.

Mere mentioning secondary school could conote another thing

but you just check the 4131 list and there is a agri.school teacher. i am teaching to post secondary classes. i have mailed my new experience certificate but all in vain . they replied they are sending my refund. now what to do. i should reapply a fresh case or not after recieving refund . its a very frustrating experience . when you have sent your all documents and wait for medical but recieved refusal. plz help,,,,,,,,,,

At first are you talking about the first stage at the CIO ? because no medicals at the CIO even if your application is eligible.

Secondly, Have you compared your duties (before the submission of your application) with the once at NOC website ? are they similar ? at this link :

Finally, is your school a college level school or secondary (high) school ? because they state in the NOC websit that it sholud be a college or college level schools.

This unit group includes instructors who teach applied arts, academic, technical and vocational subjects to students at community colleges, CEGEPs, agricultural colleges, technical and vocational institutes, language schools and other college level schools. This unit group also includes trainers who are employed by private training establishments, companies, community agencies and governments to deliver internal training or development courses. College teachers who are heads of departments are included in this group."

In my opinion the reason of refusal is his/her being Scondary teacher because it needs to be a college teacher or equivalent. I myself a secondary teacher but have had experience as a college lecturer in the past so applying on that ground.

If the school that you work for is a secondary (high) school and not college or college level school they will refuse your application again because they state clearly at the NOC website that it should be a college or college level schools to fall under NOC code (4131) (College and Other Vocational Instructors) and they take their information form that website. otherwise, your work experience will not be considered under code (4131).

Another important notice: be careful if you apply again because if you intend to change the information by saying the next time it is a college level school when you already have stated at your first application that it is a high school, they will consider that misrepresentation becuase they will look at your first application to check the reason of refusal.

I agree with Professional1 here, my suggestion to you would be to consult a immigration lawyer , they charge small fees for assesment , some also provide it for free.

Ask their opinion , if they give you postive response then u apply a repeal with their help.

If you do it by yourself , things may get messed up and u may get ejected to canada again.

SOrry for a negative resppnse, i know its heartbreaking but there is heardly something you can do.

Other option would be to change your job , join a college and apply after 1 year.
