I was planning on visiting my bf for 3 weeks in may, I was refused entry because I have no "valid reason" to go and they don't think I'll be returning. I provided proof of income (I've been working in the same company for the past 5 years), I did not mention he was my boyfriend, rather just a friend that would let me stay at his place while I visited Vancouver. Is it a good idea to buy a plane ticket so they know I'll be coming back and provide copy of my university papers? Also, he could send me a formal invitation letter. What else could I provide as proof that I have no interest in staying in Canada and that I actually have a life in my country that I need to go back to?

Any help is appreciated,
