i want to enquire whether the fee is refundable if the case is rejected???

plz respond... thx in advance...

Dear pmondair
Refund is allowed if your application is refused to process at the very first stage only, due to points matter, or regarding 38 NOC list or incomplete application form etc.

Good luck.

Rahman,

I was waiting for my Passport as I requested to chnage my Last Name there.

Now I am almost ready for submitting the Application. On my papers I am not Manager anywhere byt I worked on lots of duties which matches with NOC -0213 for Computer Professionals.

If I mention my Profile as Analyst as it was with my previous Company and mention all the duties will it work.

Currently I am working as Sr. Software Tester which also have few duties matching with 0213.

Please advise as I dont want to looses

Meena based on the information you mention, Greatly possible that u can qualify for immigration...

I hope the same.

So accordingly I would write current Profile as Sr. Software Tester with NOC 2283

And my previous profile "Analyst" with NOC 0213.

Other two NOCs are 2282

Is this fine.

Waiting for response.

I received a letter in March 09 that my fee would be refunded because my occupation was not in list. I applied in May'08. But I read OP6 Manual it says following:
" Note: Exceptions apply to applications received between February 27, 2008, and November 28, 2008.
Someone who meets the requirements of the Ministerial Instructions today, but did not meet them on
the application received date, should be assessed in relation to today's date and not the application
received date. For someone who met the requirements as of the application received date, but no
longer meets them, the reference point should be the application received date. The rule of thumb is
to apply the requirements in a manner that favors the client. Applicants could not self screen before
the Ministerial Instructions were made public."

Is there any chance(due to above wording) that our cases will be reconsidered??? If anybody is talking to lawyer, please ask him/her...

Yes apparently they do refund the fee in case of rejection even at the second stage. See this post for instance

Hallo everybody,
My application has been declined, because my job is not included in the NOC 38 profession.
In March I was told a cheque would have been sent in few weeks.
Three months later, I have not received anything as yet.
I contacted my local embassy, but they said only the office in Nuova Scotia can help me. They can be contacted only via standard mail though....no phone number, no email address.
Has anyone of you got the fees refunded? And so, in which timeframe?

Thanks for your help
