Hi All,

My application to PR was rejected and I received my cheque very late - after the 6 months period (due to problem with the postal address). Can I request them to issue me another cheque - any help will be appreciated

You can always write to them and explain that you got the check after six months. However, if the postal address problem was caused by YOU, it might be difficult to get a replacement.

I e mailed the Consulate at Buffalo - did not receive any reply yet.

The mail just came late - it was not due to my postal address fault or anything. The mail came just last week- is there anything I can do about it.

I do not think they can just refuse a replacement- what happens to the money in that case. Anybody been there?? Please.
