Refugees of another country applying for Canadian PR through EE

Hi members
Has any refugee holder in South Africa (who later got a study permit in South Africa) applied for PR in Canada through Express Entry?
If your refugee was already concerted to study permit about 5-6 years ago, what documents did you need to submit?
Did you submit the refugee?
I dont have any proof of refugee now as it was converted to study permit 5 years ago, and I am living in South Africa as a student. Will they ask me to provide the proof of refugee? and if they do, what is my option as I dont have any trace at all of my refugee?
Please Note that I have already applied for PR through EE.

If you were approved as a refugee you have to declare it. You could be denied for misrepresenting or receive a ban from 1-5 years. Being s refugee will tonot prevent you from immigrating if you have the points through education and work experience.

Thank you for the advice sir, I have already declared it. I was honest to CIC from the start.
My question is that it was more than 5 years ago and I dont even have a copy of my refugee, will CIC require any proof of refugee while assessing my EE application.

No, they shouldn't need any proof of your previous refugee status.
