Refugee Hearing date!!

I applied in July 2020, received my brown paper and work permit in November 2021. How long should I still wait to get the hearing date notice? I’m so stressed out!! Please advice.

It's hard to say.

Someone on this forum just received their interview date after waiting 2 years. So you may still have some months to wait or it may come sooner. It's really not possible to say.

The good news is that you have a work permit. There are lots of people waiting without the ability to work.

Depends on how much backlog they have and which city. Like in Ontario long wait, BC long wait, Alberta short wait, it all depends where you live and how many applications they got
