I will like to ask if a refugee claimant wishes to go to school, is it the Ontario Benefit “Social Assistance” that will pay the school fee or the claimant?

From how many hours of work if this is true because am not satisfied with your respond. As a claimant under my Ontario Benefit they should deem fit to assist with the school fee
You can apply for OSAP once you have protected person status. But this does not mean that the government pays your fees. OSAP is a loan which you have to pay back once you complete your studies.

In other words , it’s not a tax free benefit that you don’t have to repay .
You’d be treated like anyone else in Ontario that gets OSAP

It sounds like the OP is a refugee claimant and not a protected person yet. To the best of my knowledge, you need to be a protected person before you can apply for OSAP. Do you know?
Yes, you need to be convention refugee/protected person to be eligible for OSAP. But I was trying to say that there is not going to be only loan that you have to pay back.
For example once you apply for it they will say we will give you 13.000 this year and 8.000 loan-5.000 grant. So grant you don’t have to pay back.
