Refugee application ?

Hii friends
My friend is in Canada from 3 months, his life is in danger in his state, he has all related documents to prove this.he is well educated he wants to apply for refugee application self so i want to know that its possible that could he file his refugee case self at the first stage ?please tell us

If he has already been in Canada for 3 months and not already registered as a refugee, the chances of him being accepted are much lower. He should have claimed that status as soon as he arrived. CIC may well take the view that the claim is fake for this reason. I have seen at least one case on CANLII where delay was a factor in refusal.

i was able to apply for refugee after two months and after a year I got my hearing next month. I would suggest if he really in danger to apply and see what happens.

you just go to any cic office and tell them that you want to apply for refugee status. They will interview you and basically they won't denied you unless you can't prove your identity. that's what he told me.
