Can someone please tell me more about reference letter supporting documents.

What is the procedure that CIC does regarding your previous (or current) employer after you file the application? I mean does anyone know how the check ups look like? (or are there any)

How important is it to have copies of work contract(s) or pay slips because I can’t seem to find my.

Is it a big deal if you do/do not include copies of work contract or pay slips with the application?

Suddenly I’m concerned about this, so I would really appreciate any kind of help (from your personal experience, or something that you know)

Thanks a lot

Reference Letter from your HR/Line Manager is 100% necessary and important to process your application. That reference letter must include
Job description of your work. It should mention that you are full time employee. It should mention number of hours you work weekly although Full time employee may serve the purpose but your letter should be well clear to the CIC assessment team and that will give you benefit. Your letter may include NOC code although it's not necessary but CIC will appreciate that.

Payslip and other stuff is optional/additional. If you can provide it's good, if you can't doesn't matter. They need that so they can have prove of your true employment.

Hope that helps you! Good Luck!
