Dear Seniors,

Need your advice. I am working in MNC from past 4.5 years. As per our company internal policies, only our HR will hold letter heads and will not give them to any of our senior staff too unless otherwise it is required.Getting letter from HR is quite cumbersum process as it goes to multiple layers before it is issued.

Now my problem is my manager is ready to give detailed reference letter with all details but on plain paper & not on our company letter head. As our HR will not allow Sr. managers to get access to our company letter heads.

Hence my question is will it suffice to provide my roles & responsibilities on a plain paper signed by my manager, along with his Business card ?

Kindly respond ASAP.

Thanks

Avoidable.

Talk to your head of HR and give them the information that you line manager is willing to write. It's better to be straightforward with your employers and follow the requirements to the dot. Maybe the letter could mention the details of your manager and then attach his business card. I don't know of any MNC which has a rule ain't giving reference letters.
