Hi everybody:

So I am about to finish the very last draft of my employment letter and I have a few questions to those who might know the answers to my questions:

I have been employed with my company from the very beginning and I know we require all the letters from all of the employers during last 3 years. Since my employer is the same company but I was working different positions is it a good idea to get 2 letters from them stating different positions? Or is it better to include everything in 1 letter? I am just confused because my CEC 12 months started last May since I got promoted to the NOC friendly position and before that I wasn't eligible for CEC since my NOC was not skilled. I don't want the officer to get confused and think that I am trying to claim low skilled experience.

Is it a good idea to include a NOC code on my letter of employment? My manager reviewed the NOC duties and she agrees that the NOC I am using is the actual NOC I have so what do you think about including one line to my letter that would say something like:

"... XXX has been employed with XXX and we can confirm that her duties that are listed below, correspond with the NOC 2011 Code 6313."

I also have a question about overlapping permits. When I received my OPEN WP I still had 2 months left on my old coop permit that cannot be counted towards CEC. But I obviously was working under my new OPEN WP and I don't want the VO to think I am trying to claim the experience under my OLD WP.

Thank you very much!!!

After I have listed all the duties and dates and other info, at the very end I added:

Having reviewed the NOC 2011 Occupational Structure, we can confirm that XXXXXXXXX has been performing the duties that correspond to those of the 6313 NOC Code at our company since XXXXXX till the present day.

I know it will not change the VO's decision if he does not agree with my NOC code but I feel really comfortable having that there since my employer really checked and agreed on my NOC Code.

Is it ok to have on the reference letter or no?

Thank you all again.
