Reference Current Employer

Hi guys, I have received reference letters from all my former employers but haven't asked my current employer since I don't necessarily want them to find out that I'm applying for Permanent Residency through Express Entry. If I get refused I would like to continue working at my current place. Is it alright for my current position to add sufficient proof (contract, weekly payslips etc) to the application?

If you want to claim points for your current position, you need a reference letter.

If the person is currently working in Canada (LMIA exempt job) can he get points for that?

You can get an SD from a manager.
