I recently found on Reddit a thread about Canadian immigration. Check here if you want to see some questions and answers from an employee who works to organise immigration applications. Some of it is pretty general but some of you may find it useful:
Unfortunately I discovered I'm not allowed to post links. You have to go to reddit.com and search for "Canadian Immigration." There you'll see a thread called: "IAmA guy who examines and organizes immigration applications for people who want to come to Canada. AMA"
