So I just got married a week ago. My husband is here in Toronto and is a Permanent REsident already. My timeline is on the left side. How should I inform CIC about the change of marital status? Any documents needed like Marriage Certificate? Any forms to fill out for him?

Hi,
just send an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca and inform them about your new status. They will inform you back what they need from you.

when you send the email, you can include a scan of the marriage certificate and his PR card, that is likely all you will need.

Hi jes_ON, we got married in the U.S.A so we're still waiting for the Marriage Certificate to be mailed to us. Should I wait for it to arrive so that I can attach it or should I inform CIC right away?
